Welcome to Basketball New Zealand's 2026 National Registration Form.
On behalf of Basketball New Zealand (BBNZ) and our Associations, we want to thank the basketball community for being amongst the many New Zealanders that participate regularly in our fabulous sport. Our strength and success at a national and international level is only possible because the sport is equally strong at a community level. As basketball continues to grow, so too does the need to invest in and develop priority areas to support improved participation experiences for our game.
From 1 January 2025, an annual Basketball Development Levy of $5 for 14-year-olds and under, $10 for 15- to 19-year-olds and $15 for 20+ year-olds per player will be introduced across the country. The levy will be collected by BBNZ, and in collaboration with our Associations, will be directed towards a range of key initiatives.
The levy will apply to all players in regular season competitions. The levy is paid once per player per year, regardless of how many times they play or how many competitions they play in. The levy is not paid by coaches, officials, volunteers and administrators, unless they are also registered to play.
Membership Consent (Notice)
Basketball New Zealand is required by law to have clear consent from anyone who wishes to be a member. Membership provides rights under the Society's Constitution, including voting and eligibility to hold office.
You will be asked to confirm your consent later in this form.
Payment of the Basketball Development Levy does not by itself constitute membership.
Please note this form uses Email Sign On. If your email address is recognised as already being in the system you will need to enter a password to continue, or, you will need to set a password via the forgot password option. Multiple users can be attached to a single email address (i.e. multiple children attached to a parent's email account).

All players must pay the BBNZ player levy online when you register. After your registration is complete you will be emailed an invoice from BBA for your BBA player club/representative subs. These subs must be paid before your club grade starts. You can pay either online or cash in store to Sheree at Photo Patch Ltd (across from Toy World) . Check your spam/junk mail if you don't see an email invoice from MYOB Buller Basketball Association. You will be added to the BBA email draw and information database once your registration is complete. Keep an eye out for updates throughout the season via our emails and on face book media.
You can set up a payment plan with admin to pay your invoice off over the season, come visit the office to sort out.
Sport Support funding is available through Homebuilders and Sport Start Support funding is available through Sport Tasman. Both forms can be picked from Sheree at Photo Patch. These sport support funds are available to help assist you in paying your player subs.
