Coast Basketball U8 & U10 Interclub Programme – Term 4 & Term 1
This registration is to gauge interest for expanding our Interclub programme into U8 & U10 age groups. If there is an appetite for Term 4 we will look to initiate the programme for Junior Jammerz participants
Coast Basketball is excited to expand its Interclub Programme for U8 and U10 age groups, running across Term 4 and Term 1. This programme is designed for young players who have developed a passion for basketball and are ready to take the next step beyond introductory sessions like Junior Jammerz or school-based basketball.
Who is it for?
*(Year 3&4) and U10s (Year 5&6)
*Players looking for a more structured and competitive team environment
*Ideal for those who have completed beginner programmes and are ready for the next level
What does the Interclub Programme involve?
*Weekly team trainings led by Coast Basketball coaches
*Players will join teams aligned with a local club based on their geographical area
*Games played in our Quick 3 League, a fast-paced 3-on-3 format designed to maximise touches, space, and development
*Focus on skill development, teamwork, and game confidence in a fun and positive environment
Programme Purpose
*To provide a clear development pathway from beginner to representative basketball
*To support the growth of fundamental basketball skills in real-game situations
*To build community through club alignment and foster a strong sense of belonging
*To create a positive, inclusive environment where players can thrive on and off the court
Eligibility Criteria & Terms
*Players must be actively enrolled in the Junior Jammerz programme for that term
*Players must not be affiliated with another basketball association that is not partnered with Coast Basketball
*Teams will be formed randomly based on player ability to ensure balanced and competitive matchups
This programme is a great opportunity for young players to build confidence, grow their skills, and develop a love for the game in a structured and supportive setting.
