Welcome to North Canterbury Basketball's U13 Development program Registration.
The u13 development program's purpose to expose and develop our u13 players (turning 13, 12, 11 in 2022) to North Canterbury Basketball style of play, and play in a tournament format.
We will hold musters for our u13 development program, where players will either be placed in to the u13 South Island Regional program, where they will compete in the South Island Regional Championships being held 12 - 15th October in Ashburton.
An estimated cost is $700 per player. This will cover travel costs, accommodation, meals, recovery food, tournament entry fee, and training court hire. The cost will be confirmed once we know the number of teams were sending and can confirm accommodation.
Alternatively, players will be selected to play an U13 Christchurch Invitational Tournament being held here in Christchurch/NC with dates and more details TBC.
Teams and players will receive 7 weeks of training and coaching prior to their tournament.

Mainpower Stadium
6th August - U13 Girls 5-6.30pm
7th August - U13 Boys 5-6.30pm
Extra trial dates if required
13th August - U13 Girls 5-6.30pm
14th August - U13 Boys session 1 3 - 4pm and session 2 4.15pm - 5.30pm (you will receive an email to let you know which session to attend)
Following the trials, there will be 2 group trainings led by Development Manager Cam Wilson to introduce the NC Style of Play. After that, there will be 5 weekly trainings in your teams, led by the Head Coach.
Girls Group Trainings
August 20th - 5:00-6:30pm @ MainPower Stadium
August 28th - 3:00-4:30pm @ MainPower Stadium
Boys Group Trainings
August 21st - 5:00-6:30pm @ MainPower Stadium
August 28th - 5:00-6:30pm @ MainPower Stadium
Team training dates/times will be confirmed with coaches closer to the time.
Trainings will be during the 4 following weekends:
September 10th/11th, 17/th18th, 24th/25th
October 1st/2nd, 8th/9th.
