Due to the number of participants expected for the boys trials, the first two trials are split into two sessions based on year of birth.

Trial Process
No spectators are permitted at any of the trials.
Attendance at all trials is required. Absences must be notified and approved in advance by the representative coordinator.
Please bring a light/dark reversible singlet, basketball and water. Arrive 30 minutes early to receive ID number.
The boys' first two trials are split into two sessions to accommodate the expected large number of athletes and to ensure that all players get a fair chance to be seen by the selecting coaches. Please take careful note of which one to attend based on date of birth.
Player cuts may be made throughout the trials.
Team announcements will be made via the CSBA website following the final trial. At this time further information will be communicated to those selected.
Players who withdrew from a 2024 Comets team after teams were announced will not be considered for selection for 12 months
If selected, players must register with a CSBA local club team.
If selected, representative fees must be paid prior to round 3 of the MJL/JPL season.

Transfer Rules
Players who previously played representative basketball at another association will need to complete the Intent to Trial form. If the Intent to Trial form is not completed the player will not be allowed to trial.
There are limits to the number of transfer players we are able to take into our program each year. Exemptions may be made for families that have relocated to the area. If this is the case, please let us know prior to the trials.
