Welcome to Basketball New Zealand's Representative Basketball Registration Form for participants. Completing this form will ensure you're eligible for your association rep team. If you've already self-registered to your association this year, simply confirm all pre-filled details are correct and click submit.
PLEASE NOTE: The 2025 rep programme will include the the expansion of the mainland’s programme. Mainlands teams will be immediately selected following the rep trial Feb 23rd and March 2nd, unlike previous years where they trialed in June. They will train in parallel with the rep teams and play an additional blitz tournament March 29th in Rangiora. This is on-top of the established mainlands programme in June/July. Please be aware to participate in either rep OR mainlands, you MUST attend these trials.

If your email address is recognised as already being in the system you will need to enter a password to continue, or, you will need to set a password via the forgot password option.
Please note that multiple users can be attached to a single email address (i.e. multiple children attached to a parents email account).
Basketball Development Levy
From 1 January 2025, an annual Basketball Development Levy of $5 - $15 (dependent on age) per player was introduced across the country. The levy will be collected by BBNZ, and in collaboration with Associations, will be directed towards a range of key initiatives.
The levy will apply to all players in regular season competitions. The levy is paid once per player per year, regardless of how many times they play or how many competitions they play in. The levy is not paid by coaches, officials, volunteers and administrators, unless they are also registered to play.
