SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMPS - SKILLS AND DEVELOPMENT

We are excited to announce we are holding our SCHOOL HOLIDAY SKILLS & DEVELOPMENT CAMPS in the upcoming September/October holidays.

These School Holidays we will be holding sessions for everyone. We will continue with our Skills & Development Camps on Tuesday 29 September, Wednesday 30 September, Wednesday 7 October and Thursday 8 October 2026 at Bankstown, plus a Skills and Development Camp at Liverpool on Friday October 2026. With the success of our Shooting Clinics over the past holidays, we will be running this on Wednesday 30 October 2026.

We understand that many of you will be getting prepared for the Rep Trials, so we will be running a new Rep Trial Ready clinic on Tuesday 29 October 2026.

For any player who was a Rep Player for Bankstown Bruins in 2026, we are also running a Bruins Academy, run by Roderick Proctor and Coaches.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY SKILLS AND DEVELOPMENT CAMPS will be held Tuesday 29 September, Wednesday 30 September, Wednesday 7 October and Thursday 8 October 2026. These camps are designed for children aged 5-17 years old to participate in activities including basketball and other fun activities. It’s all about engagement, making new friends, having fun and learning some new skills. There are prizes on offer at the end of the camp for skill tests and games. Camps run 9am to 3pm. Please ensure your child wears comfortable shoes, brings a clearly labelled basketball (if they have one), drink bottle, recess and lunch. There will be canteen facilities available on the day, with lunch orders able to be placed on the morning prior to the camp starting.

SHOOTING CLINIC will be held Wednesday 30 September 2026 from 9am to 1pm. This camp is open for any players, wanting to work on their shooting schools, from ages 8 to 17. All players are encouraged to attend. This is a great option if you want to work on your game during the holidays.

REP TRIAL READY CLINIC will be held Tuesday 29 September 2026 from 9am to 1pm. This camp is to work on skill levels, drills and fundamentals that will be required when trialling for Reps in October 2026.

BRUINS ACADEMY will be held Wednesday 30 September 2026 from 9am to 1pm. This camp is only for 2026 Bruins Rep Players to attend.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY SKILLS AND DEVELOPMENT CAMP – LIVERPOOL WHITLAM LEISURE CENTRE will be held Friday 9 October 2026. This camp is designed for children aged 7-18 years old to participate in activities including basketball and other fun activities. It’s all about engagement, making new friends, having fun and learning some new skills. Camp runs from 9am to 1pm. Please ensure your child wears comfortable shoes, brings a clearly labelled basketball (if they have one), drink bottle and recess. The address for the session is Whitlam Leisure Centre, 90A Memorial Avenue, Liverpool. We are offering an Early Bird Special for anyone who registers by midnight Monday 7 September. We are also offering a discount if you have more than one family member attending our camp, we are offering a discount for the second member and third member attending.

You are able to use your Active Kids Voucher for any of these programs.

Please ensure that you are not late for pickup, additional costs may occur.

All players are to bring a drink bottle, recess, lunch (if doing the Skills and Development camps) and a basketball if they own one. Please note that the canteen will be open on Skills and Development camp days and lunch orders will be accepted on those mornings.
