ALL GIRLS LEAGUE TEAM REGISTRATION FORM - This form is for Managers to enter there teams into our Coast Royals Girls League
A fun, fast-paced basketball league designed to give young girls more opportunities to play, compete, build confidence and enjoy basketball with their friends!
Team Entries will be invoiced to the team manager and due before 7th November
Royal Reversible Club shirts can be purchased for teams at $55 per shirt (these will need to be ordered before 1st October to have them arrive before competition commences. Shirts are also used for Interclub games if players would like to play in the interclub comp.
LOCATION: Whangaparaoa College
LEAGUE DATES
The league begins Saturday 14 November and runs for 4 weeks.
GAME TIMES
Year 3/4 Grade
Games will be played at 9:00am or 9:30am.
Year 5/6 Grade
Games will be played at 10:00am or 10:30am.
Players should arrive with enough time to meet their team and be ready to play before their scheduled game.
LEAGUE FORMAT
Teams should be made up of 4-6 players and will play in our Quick 3 league format
- Games are played 3v3 on smaller court (this helps develop confidence on the ball and gives players more time and space to focus on skill building and decision making)
Each grade will have 8 teams, split into two pools of four teams.
Weeks 1 - 3: Pool Play
Each team plays the other three teams in their pool.
Week 4: Finals
Every team will play a final based on their pool results.
Photo & Video Permission
Photos and videos may be taken during the league and used by Coast Basketball for promotional purposes, including our website and social media channels.
