Our Junior basketball competition operates by school year
Kindergarten
This will be individual nominations of Boys and girls who would participate in a weekly half hour skills session, followed by a short 10-minute game, teaching the basics of the game, and developing their basketball skills.
This will allow our students to get the basic skills needed to compete and be ready for participation in games by the time they are in Year 1.

Junior competition- will be made up of a split competition for year 1 and year 2 boys and girls (Team nominations only)
These children will play a 30-minute game on the mini ball courts (half court) following the TBA mini ball competition rules.

Intermediate competition- will be made up of a split competition for year 3 and year 4 boys and girls (Team nominations only) being played on the full court following the TBA senior mini ball competition rules using a size 5 Ball.
This will allow these younger children to obtain more skills, as it allows them to have a better understanding of the game if they are wishing to pursue representative basketball.

Senior Mini ball competition- will be made up of a split competition for year 5 and year 6 boys and girls (Team nominations only) being played on the full court following the TBA senior mini ball competition rules using a size 6 ball.
Allowing for a more even playing field within their age group.
